The Team Behind The Magic

Julie Borowicz

Owner

Julie’s background in business and technology gives her a unique edge in the print world. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Northwestern College and a history in administrative roles at research institutions, she brings structure, creativity, and strategy to everything Fresh Printz does. Her early work in desktop publishing, managing printers, and launching local business directories like “Shop Naperville” shaped the vision for what the company is today.

Mike Borowicz

Co-Owner/Technician

Mike’s hands-on expertise as a former Chief Building Engineer brings precision and reliability to the production side of Fresh Printz. He runs the machines that make the magic happen — from DTF and banners to embroidery and decals — ensuring that each job is executed with exactness. His technical mindset and care for the craft are part of why our print quality stands out.

Our Story

Fresh Printz of Loves Park started as a humble side project with a different name — ROTD Crafter’s Corner — and a whole lot of heart. What began in 2015 as Julie’s creative outlet quickly turned into a full-fledged business fueled by passion, late nights, and a drive to serve others. Julie and Mike poured their savings, time, and energy into building something real — a place where quality meets community.

They’ve never taken shortcuts. Julie once slept on the shop floor to meet deadlines, and Mike brings the same precision to every machine he operates today. Their story isn’t one of overnight success — it’s one of grit, commitment, and love for the craft.
