Our Story
Originally named ROTD Crafter’s Corner, Fresh Printz of Loves Park is a woman-owned business that began in 2015 as a true passion project, driven by Julie’s love for helping friends and family bring their ideas to life through custom printing.
What started as a small side project quickly grew into a thriving business, thanks to Mike and Julie’s unwavering persistence and dedication to delivering high-quality products at affordable prices.
Starting the business was no easy feat. Julie and Mike took their savings and invested everything into building Fresh Printz from the ground up. Their commitment to customer service, affordability, and fast turnaround times became the pillars of their success. Julie, never one to quit, even slept on the floor to meet deadlines and ensure that every customer received their order on time.

Owner/CEO
Julie Borowicz
Julie’s background is rooted in business and technology. A graduate of Northwestern College with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business/Managerial Economics, she initially honed her skills as a Senior Administrative Assistant at a research institute. During her time there, she managed printers, ran reports, and was deeply involved in desktop publishing—back before it evolved into what we now know as graphic design.
Her experience in building websites and promoting local businesses through platforms like “Shop Naperville” laid the foundation for what would become Fresh Printz of Loves Park.
Co-Owner / Technician
Mike Borowicz
Mike, Julie’s partner, brought his technical expertise to the business after years of experience in building maintenance as a Chief Building Engineer and Manager. He now runs the machines at Fresh Printz, ensuring that every print job is executed with precision.
His love for the technical side of the printing business is evident in the meticulous care he takes in maintaining the equipment that powers their operation.
